AirPods mismatch but not mismatched ???

What if I get an AirPods mismatch notification even if I have not mismatched my AirPods with anyone? Also keep getting a tracking notification from it

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

The support article you came here from should provide you with the two options available to you to try to resolve this issue. Since you are claiming that you did not "switch" out one of your AirPods with one from another owner, Apple provides you with the option to purchase a replacement one. Alternatively, you can contact Apple Support directly. To do so, simply select the "Get Support" link in the upper right-hand side of this forum's web page.
