Macbook hinge area...

I made a stupid decision to clean the hinge area of my Mac with a toothpick, I thought I was getting out specks of dust, but turns out I was actually tearing through the silicone.

I have two questions, what can I do to cover up the tears in the silicone?

It seems like I've cut through a webcam data cable, because after this happened my webcam has stopped working.
