Can you trade in an Iphone X for an Iphone 13 of any sort?

I have an old, uneligible trade-in phone. I am getting an X, but across the internet, it says you can trade in an X or newer for an Iphone 13, most places said that it was for the 13 Mini, but I am not sure if this can be done on the Apple website rather than phone carrier stores as I do not use a SIM Card or phone number of any sort, the carriers offer 36 months, but the months are payed and have to be promised.
