Trying to reset IPhone

I recently got a new iPhone and transferred everything over successfully. I’m trying to get my old phone ready for trade-in, but each time I try going through the reset (as instructed by Apple) it gets stuck on “Uploading data to iCloud”. I try hitting “Skip Backup” (as everything’s already setup on my new one), but it just gets stuck. The progress bar makes it look like it is at 100% and the time remaining estimate says 1 minute, but it will not move forward even with trying to skip the backup.

If you just want to wipe it use a PC with iTunes or a Mac to DFU it

Recovery mode or DFU

If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch – Apple Support (UK)

Thr normal way would be Settings, General, Transfer or reset iphone, Erase all content and settings

Either way remove the old phone from your devices

New phone, Settings, your name, remove old one from the list.

If you don't have the computer then in

iCloud at Settings, your name,

Turn off Find My

Sign out of iCloud

Yes, it’s when doing the “Erase all content and settings” that it gets stuck on uploading data to the iCloud. It seems like it won’t let me skip that step / gets stuck there
