Apple Music

Today I set up my Apple Music profile, to be able to connect with friends. After what I assumed made my account, I tried to access my profile and it’s not there. I checked to see if my phone was up to date, I checked for content restrictions, I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Nothing seems to work. But I would really appreciate being able to use this feature. So how do i get it?
