Unable to stop Spotify opening on mac startup

Spotify was not in my login-in items list.

There are no Spotify files in Launch agent folder in open or hidden library file

There are no Spotify files in Launch daemon folder in open or hidden library file

I have unchecked the 're-open apps after re-start' pop-up.

I even added Spotify to my login-in items list. Restarted mac, then unchecked it. Then restarted again - it still opened.

None of the above has worked.

Any advice please? I'm using MacOS Monterey.

Spotify > Preferences > Startup and window behavior. Select "No".

The Launch Daemons are for all users are are located

Go to startup disk>Library>LaunchDaemons

Did you look there and not in user LaunchDaemons?

Launchagents be under ~user>Library>LaunchAgents. This covers only your user. Did you look there?

Try booting to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

A lot of times just boot to Safe Mode followed by normal boot resolves problems.
