2020 MacBook Pro 16 crashes when sleeping

Has Apple confirmed that this is an issue? I can't find any formal acknowledgement from Apple regarding. My laptop is practically unusable at work as I can't close the lid. Everytime I do the system crashes.

Why doesn't Apple have a formal bug reporting mechanism where we can track progress on fixes? Is Apple even trying to fix this issue? These are expensive laptops.

Ok, the title is a little bit of a clickbait – but yes, my Macbook Pro 16" 2021 M1 Pro crashes each and everytime it goes to sleep with my Apollo Twin X audio interface plugged in (and the Apollo Twin is left switched on). Macbook Pro 16 shuts down when put to sleep I have a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019), MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 Every time I put the device to sleep it shuts down, when I turn it on it shows the error message "Your computed was restarted because of a problem" This happens if I put it to sleep myself or if it goes to sleep after a while. To avoid this I completely turned off sleep mode when plugged in, but this is not a solution, I use it on battery quite often and sleep is essential when on the move. This started happening ever since I got the device and I had it on High Sierra, so I assume MacOS version is not the issue. I also reinstalled it completely two times since I got it and this issue never dissapired. What can I do to fix this?

My Macbook Air M1 crash from sleep after updating to Monterey I updated my Macbook Air M1 to Monterey yesterday. However, I noticed that it crashes every time from sleep. Happened 3 times already in 2 hours today. Anybody have the same issue?

Try the following:

▷ Update macOS.

▷ Try Safe Mode.

▷ Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac.

If that does not help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.
