my country of residence is shown as USA but I reside in France. I want to buy apple care for my watch. Will it work

Did you purchase the Apple Watch in France less that’s 60 days ago? If yes, or it is a GPS only watch purchased in the US less than 60 days ago you should be able to purchase AppleCare +.
