The best printer for you may not be the same as for someone else. There are so many different models. Colour or monochrome? With or without a scanner? Et cetera, et cetera.

To begin with, you may want to have a look at the list in About AirPrint - Apple Support. These printers are compatible with macOS. Also, do check, for example, the Brother, Canon, Epson, and HP web sites.

By the way, if you post the exact Samsung printer model, there could possibly be a solution or a workaround.

Would it be correct to assume that this is a "plain" M2070, not the Samsung Xpress M2070W or M2070FW listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support (an AirPrint-enabled printer is compatible with macOS, and could be used without additional drivers, provided that it is connected to the same network as the computer)?

The Samsung universal printer driver from HP for the M2070 seems to be supported up to macOS 11 Big Sur only. The Unable to find drivers for my Samsung SCX… - Apple Community discussion could perhaps be of some interest, though.

If testing anything, ensure that (multiple) backup copies have been made of all important files (documents, photos, etc). Software conflicts and data loss cannot be ruled out.

Only you know your needs. All we know is "laser monochrome ".

List your printing needs then search for a printer that satisfies your needs. There are hundreds of compatible printers. It would be of no value for us to list them not knowing your needs.
