I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) and I can't seem to get the macOS Monterey to load. What can I do to stay up to date?

My Mac won't update to the macOS Monterey? What do I need to do?

A late 2013 MacBook Pro can be upgraded to the latest  version of Big Sur macOS 11 but no later. See: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support

Monterey cannot be installed on a late 2013 MacBook Pro.
