Hi - I just bought a new Macbook Air in Australia but I'm a resident of France. Should I buy Applecare+ here before I go to France next week, or should I buy it in France? Is there any difference?

I do not know Apple's terms in other countries, but you need to make sure that Applecare+

That is up to you. Although the coverage is worldwide, there may be instances where Apple will only cover the damage in the country of purchase (of the device). Thanks babowa for the link. It does appear that the benefits of the Applecare+ plan are only available in the country of purchase. So I guess I should purchase Applecare+ in France to be sure of cover there.
