The size of the images on the resulting Images screen from a Safari Google search is much reduced, filling about a third of the screen. Can you please advise how this can be corrected? Many thanks

If you haven't yet, it might be good to close the Safari app and restart your iPhone. These steps can help to resolve many issues with the iPad.

Should it persist, does this happen on all images or just specific images from websites?

Images are going to be different sizes, depending on their source.
Typically, you can tap on any image and it will go full screen or take you to the page it came from.
If this does not address the issue properly, let us know if this is only happening in Google search results, or if it happens on other websites also.

This in only happening in the Google search results.
I make a search in Google via Safari.
When I go to the Images screen the images are much reduced in size and only fill about a third of the screen area, the rest is blank.

It is only when I make a search on my iPad, with the Google search engine selected for Safari, that the Images on the screen are reduced in size. It is only the Image screen. When search engines: Yahoo, Bing or DuckDuckGo are selected the resulting images on the Image screen are the correct size.
