I want to update my iPhone

Check iPhone type -> Go to: Settings -> General -> About.

If it is an iPhone 6 -> iOS 12.5.5 is the last security updates for iPhone 6, -> released 23 september 2021.

If it is an iPhone 6S and newer you can update the iPhone to iOS 15, see this Apple article:

Go to: Settings -> General -> Software Update.

You need good Wi-Fi connection. 

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
