As it says on the alert, you cannot use screen recording or broadcasting when you are using Apple CarPlay, Airplay or when you are already mirroring your screen to an Apple TV. This happens for everyone. If you want to use screen recording please turn off Airplay, disconnect CarPlay if you are using it in your vehicle and stop mirroring to a tv.
