Handwash Reminder not working

I have locations set to always for handwash. The handwash timer works OK but the reminder does not work when I get home. I have latest updates on iPhone 13 pro and watch s6. My card is set correctly with my home address. My watch app has the option to set reminder on for handwash but on my watch there is only the handwash timer option. The handwash reminder option is missing on the watch. The problem started with watchOS 8.5 I think. It used to work fine I have restarted watch and iPhone.

Hi ColinD3,

We see you're running into an issue with the Reminders to Wash your hands with Apple Watch Series 4 or later and you've already checked your Location settings.

"Turn on Handwashing and Handwashing Reminders

Before you turn on Handwashing, make sure your iPhone is on the latest version of iOS and your Apple Watch is on the latest version of watchOS.

Open the My Watch app on your iPhone and tap Handwashing.
Tap Handwashing Timer to have your watch automatically detect when you're washing your hands and start a 20-second timer.
Tap Handwashing Reminders to have your watch remind you to wash your hands after returning home.

You can also turn these settings on and off on your Apple Watch under Handwashing in the Settings app."
