Hi sabineandremi,
The only solution for reading messages on another device would be to sign into Messages with the same Apple ID and configure Text Message Forwarding. How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac outlines the steps to set this feature up on both devices in the "Set up text message forwarding" section. As this feature is designed for accessing your messages across multiple devices that you own, a message read on once device will be marked as read on all others.
