trying to restore ipad, and everything goes ok, connection, software extraction, and then 'Unknown error occurred 4010'.go error 4010 '

Trying to restore ipad using itunes on PC (windows 10). Everything is going fine, recovery mode, extracting software, starting restore and get 'Unknown error occured (4010). rebooted everything and got same error. Any suggestions.

Error #4010 is not explicitly listed by Apple. When your iPad is connected to a computer, these errors are often attributed to a faulty cable - or interference from Anti Virus software.


Try using a different cable, a different USB port - or, at your own risk, temporarily disabling your AV software.
