One Mac, three rooms!

Hi all,

I have a dual 2.0 G5 and want to set it up as a server for my "Digital Lifestyle"
Basically, I have three screens around my house - 1 plasma and two LCD's. Does anybody know of a way that I can access my Mac from each room? I know that a couple of extra video cards will work for the screens but what type of input devices can I use? I don't think a wireless keyboard and mouse would have the range.

All suggestions appreciated!

You could get a DVI splitter ( http://www.l-com.com/item.aspx?id=8257) to split the video signal and then run DVI cables (may need special extender boxes depending on the length of run). If you use multiple video cards you would have to set the monitors to mirror mode so that all displays would have access to the menu bar. Can do the same thing with USB cables ( http://www.l-com.com/productfamily.aspx?id=2408) and then use a USB based bluetooth adapter at the end of the USB cable with a wireless keyboard and mouse. But this would be rather expensive.

I have a used PowerMac Cube and Powerbook which I use with some Samsung flat panel TVs that I network with my G5 to play music and such in various rooms of my house. Could also use low end model of the Mac Mini to do the same thing.
