iphone device info

I opened my apple ID on iPhone and noticed a number in parentheses next to my iPhone. I have Iphone 8 but in apple ID it says iPhone (5) above "this iPhone 8". Anyone else having the same issue? how did you manage to solve it!

Go to general, about then name, you can change it there, but my question is why it is showing the wrong or unrelated model! anyway it feels good to know that I'm not the only one having this problem
