I wonder how come an iPhone, unknown to me, is suggested as instant hotspot connection in my mac book pro. I checked devices linked to my icloud account and there wasn't any device other than my current mac book pro and my old IPhone 7 which is shutdown in my drawer since 1 years.
Is this a bug or a security issue?

There's an iPhone nearby offering it's Hotspot, but maybe you can only see it, not join it.

It is the similar to when you are using WiFi you can see WiFi networks that are broadcasting their SSID.
Thank you for your reply. There was also a battery icon next to the chain icon, however it was grayed out. Does is still mean it is just a hotspot around?
