Token Factory iFrame - Safari Downloading

Whenever I open a Word application on safari (ex. a word document or outlook), a textEdit file automatically downloads called "Token Factory Iframe". It does not happen on word applications downloaded on my computer or on chrome. I have tried shutting down my computer, closing safari, clearing website data, and many online tricks.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

Thank you!

There are reports of this in multiple forums. All reports are this month and the earliest date I've seen claimed for the problem starting is 1st May. For me it started yesterday.

Although most posts seem to be from Safari users, I've seen one claiming it happens in Firefox as well (I don't see the problem in Firefox).

I find it very annoying but so far it hasn't stopped me doing anything in Outlook and the downloaded files are 0 bytes so for the moment I'm just that Microsoft fixes it quickly.

I’m getting the same thing from outlook 365. It started this afternoon. Nothing I’ve tried has helped either. As soon as I open Outlook365, downloads start popping down to the corner and it shows only the Token Factory Iframe Icon, but no files are being stored. I did find another place where they were being stored, but no option to delete...maddening.
