I just bought a HDMI adapter but it does not work. I got the message from the projector about HDCP - but I am not trying to project a streaming app. I'm using a drawing app (Procreate- also up to date). have an iPad pro (Model A1584) OS is up to date 15.4.1. I bought the adapter recommended for my model. Do I need a different adapter?

Which model of iPad are you using? Is the “HDMI Adapter” of Apple origin, or a third-party manufacturer? If the latter, you will need to seek assistance from the manufacturer of your adapter - and/or your projector to verify compatibility with your set-up.
