Other storage on Ipad

So, basically I use my Ipad for art and recently the storage says it has over 45GB of “other” yet my apps such as procreate only take around 22GB. (The Ipad has 64GB) I have tried everything from clearing my search message. I can’t restart the Ipad’s memory since all of my art and important pictures are on it and I cant afford to lose them and they won’t transfer to cloud. I need to get rid of the other storage!

Clear Other storage on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You would be well advised to save important data to your computer or an external drive. It is very easy to accidently delete things in iCloud. A mistaken deletion on one device deletes the item on all devices.

Hi,

Thank you so much for responding. I can’t update my device. I’ve tried manually and wireless and it just keeps on saying there’s not enough space when there is, and I can’t backup my files on my computer either because “iTunes could not back up the Ipad because an error occurred”. I’ve tried several times now. I barely have 600 images on the device, and the apps only take around 26GB all together.
