How do I unlock brand new MacBook Pro

How do I unlock my brand new MacBook Pro?? I don’t even remember enabling a password onto it. And apple support wants to charge me 200 bucks to walk me through factory resetting??! Please help! There’s nothing on it yet it’s brand new so I don’t need to back it up
