mirror text in Pages for "Presentation Mode"

The presentation mode for Pages on iPad is awesome, allowing use as a teleprompter. But it doesn't offer 'mirrored text' so that I can actually use it as a teleprompter with my teleprompter set up that uses a mirror so that I'm looking directly into camera.

I've found online that there's ways of using a text box and flipping the image, but offering 'mirrored text' seems like a simple fix/addition for the presentation mode that saves me time from trying to 'mickey mouse' a different way to do it. Can't be that hard to add, right?

Hi Mitch,

Good question; wrong audience.

Adding this feature to Pages would require a change in the software—a topic beyond the scope of this user-to-user community.

Use the Provide pages feedback menu item in the Pages menu to submit a Feature enhancement/ New feature request directly to Apple.

Meanwhile put your text into one or more text boxes, then flip the box horizontally, using that menu item in the Arrange menu to get this type of result:

I followed your instruction and went the 'Provide Pages Feedback' route.

I'm aware of the flip text box option but I need something that does entire chapters if not whole documents. I have the teleprompter software for my iPad, but again -it only likes relatively small documents. Being able to do it with an entire Pages document would be a game changer. I also read that I might be able to use Keynote to do this, but Pages' Presentation mode is soooo close.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
