Help, I think I lost everything.

I lost my iphone and replaced with a new one. Upon backing up to my cloud I may have selected an option where I lost everything. Can I recover my data?

Selecting iCloud as your backup option merely means only important data is backed up. Apps have to be redownloaded. Your photos, music, messages, etc, should not be lost. Make sure you set your new iPhone with the same Apple ID and password as you used on your previous one. All of your data is tied to that Apple ID.
