In Photos, at the top of the sidebar appears "Photos" but there are no options under "Photos" -- i.e, no links to Library, Memories, People, Places, etc. Under "Albums" appears a list of all my albums but under "Photos" it lists nothing. How do I get the submenu under "Photos" to reappear?

The library section has been collapsed. You can expand it if you hover the pointer to the right of the heading "Photos" in the sidebar to reveal the disclosure triangle. This triangle is hidden by default.
