Alternate/islamic calendar showing wrong date

How can i correct the date? I checked the region/date time in general setting and everything seems to be in correct order. But the alternate calendar is a day behind.


  • already checked all the settings related to calendars, time n date, region
  • already did hard restart.


any help is appericated.

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!


We understand that the Islamic calendar isn't showing the correct date on your iPhone.


We'd like to have you refresh your Calendar and test again. You can go to Settings > Calendar > Alternate Calendars and set it to Off.


Next, go to Settings > General > Language & Region to change Region to Saudi Arabia.


Restart your iPhone then go to Settings > Calendar > Alternate Calendars to enable Islamic Calendar.


Next, go to Settings > General > Language & Region and set the region to your current location.


Check your Calendar to ensure the date is correct.
