I use touch id to unlock. Today Macbook required password. Password did not unlock, says reset with Recovery key.
Where do I find the Recovery key?
-I cannot get into Finder
Can get a Recovery key from my iPhone?
Why did this happen, the password not recognizable?

To trouble shoot further you can:

Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

unfortunately it did not help to unlock Mac book Pro.
The mac is locked. I cannot go to System Pref to get a Recovery key.
Can I get a Recovery key from my iPhone?
