Is it safe to peel off the protective glass used to protect the iPhone from breaking when dropped? Mine has hairline cracks
What has hairline cracks? The screen protector? Or the actual screen of your phone? If the screen protector is cracked, you can certainly remove and replace it. If the phone's display is what's actually cracked, I'd leave the screen protector in place until you can have the display repaired.
