Child iCloud

When I set up my child’s iCloud account I put my birthday instead of his and now I’m unable to change him from and adult to a child. Any advice?

To be able top change the age to below 13 the account first needs to be in a family sharing group

Make a family group and invite the account to your family:

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

Then change the birthdate on the childs account:

Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support

To change a birth date to any age below 13,* you must be a member of a Family Sharing group, and your family organizer must approve the change. After you change a birth date to any age below 13, you can't edit it.* Learn more about Family Sharing.
