iphone 12 Pro battery drain 15.4.1 does not help at all

Hi community,

and hi Apple support team.

could you please reach out to the dev team of iOS:

I was in the store twice already, did all the fix tips here on the internet and my battery is still draining like ****!

what I have done so far:

full wipe of my phone, reinstalled iOS with my Mac from recovery and did not use a backup therefore started all over again :-(

turned of siri entirely,

turned of background thing entirely,

Turned of find my entirely,

but my battery still drains and my phone gets hot, just from lying untouched on my desk.

i have a few screenshots:

just want to let Apple know, even the technician at the bar had no idea… and Friday I will have my third visit there…

of there is a dev reading this: fix it. Call me, send me a mail or what ever, I’ll be happy to schedule a call, have you look at the task manager on the console in Xcode. What ever it takes, I’ll be happy to assist to fix it

Although Apple administers this community, that doesn't include reading each of thousands of daily posts for possible feedback. However, Apple will "read all feedback carefully" here:

Hi there, we are a Support Community, which we are not the Devs, as we are normal people around the world, but we can try to assist in the problem your are facing, firstly may I know what's in your battery health, I am also using a 12 Pro with the same iOS update and have never had this problem with my 12 Pro. It may be different depending on how you use it. But so far my battery never decrease that fast with the update.

I'm more disturbed by the fact that Siri is using so much of your power.

Are you continuously asking Siri to do things for you?

Can you try turning off "Settings -> Siri & Search -> Listen for ”Hey Siri“" and see if the battery usage changes any?

i did already turn of Siri entirely

And the drainage came without using the phone at all ;-) no Siri questions, no screen time, nothing ;-)

you ca see that by the second chart, 100% to 0 with less than 20 minutes total use time.

but this behavior is not reproduceable.

today it seems to be fine again.

Your battery isn’t shown going to 0% in any of these graphs.

The second chart shows your battery going from 100% to about 30% from about 06:45 to 15:00 or so with Siri being reported as being responsible for 100% of that battery usage as a background task.
