I can’t set a custom greeting on my iPhone XR. I get an error message when I try to save the message. My phone reverts to the default message.

I am unable to create a custom greeting message. I can record the message, play the message, but I am unable to save the message. My phone reverts back to the default greeting.

Contact your carrier for help, the greeting is part of their service and is not stored on your phone.
