How long does it take for AIG to finally resolve a lost iphone claim?

They keep promising me that they'll send me an update right away, but it's been 4 full business day and nothing yet. I bought a new phone with the plan to return it.. but I'm just wondering how long it normally takes people to receive their replacement? Thank you!

Fast forward 2 weeks later and no replacement iPhone yet and dealing with AIG is a real pain. They already escalated it and don't have an answer (maybe Monday). My wife saw on official Apple Support that you can cancel the claim and set it up like a new device. Does anyone have any experience with that? My fear is that if I cancel the claim with AIG but can't restore the phone because it's still bricked, I won't be able to file another claim. Thank you for any insight!

Time it takes for claim and shipping? I lost my iPhone and have apple care with theft and loss. I need to file a claim and was wondering how long does it take for the claim to be approved and how long the phone takes to ship?

Lost my iPhone I lost my iPhone the 26th of January and filed a claim on the 31st and apple just keeps giving me the run arounds since they keep saying now that it’s going to take 5 business days to review, I talked to a few different agents and they all said different things. how long did it take you guys to get approved from aig?

We are all other users here and do not work for AIG or Apple, so we cannot tell you how long the process takes, but from what I have read here, it usually takes longer than 4 days. You are dealing with an insurance company.

Just wondering past experience from some users. Lots of people have complained I've seen but was hard to gauge how many days it actually took /shrug
