The Phone app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the home screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.

Thank you. This was a new phone purchase. When went to Settings, Phone, it stated No SIM

I called Apple support and then I took it back to T Mobile (where I purchased it) and they had failed to activate the eSIM. The eSIM replaces a physical SIM card.

Once they did this the phone was correctly working. I like T Mobile but this time they blew it by not completing the setup.
