I no longer have the ability change the Apple Books software to vertical scrolling. I am using a Mac mini (M1, 2020) with macOS version 12.3.1 (21E258) installed and the Books software installed is Version 4.3 (5158.2). Can someone tell me how this feature can be enabled, or will there be a software update to restore this function?
Had a look at Help and it states: Move the pointer to the top of the book, click the Appearance button AA, then turn on Vertical Scrolling or Horizontal Scrolling, depending on the format of the book.
None of my books gave me that option.
Books Help documentation states that the feature should be there. Worked with Apple Help for a little over an (greatly appreciate their efforts) and they thought is should be there. Though they wanted be to reinstall the OS and I didn’t have the time to do that - too much going on over the weekend.
Not sure if there ever was vertical scrolling. I know there is on iOS, there never was using High Sierra, nor Monterey.
