Can I stop someone from sharing there location with me?

You didn't specify the device you have. You can remove a friend from your Find My by following the steps in these two support documents:

Add or remove friends in Find My on Mac

1. In the Find My app on your Mac, click People.
2. In the People list, select a name, then click the Info button on the map.
3. Click Remove [Friend] or Stop Sharing My Location.

Note: You can also Control-click a name in the People list, then choose Remove [Friend]

Add or remove a friend in Find My on iPhone [and iPad]

1. Tap People at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the person you want to remove.
2. Tap Remove [name], then tap Remove.

You can also swipe left across the person’s name, then tap the Trash icon.

A note common to both of these is: When you remove a friend, that person is removed from your People list and you are removed from theirs.
