Reading sheet music on ipad pro outdoors

As Summer comes along even in Ireland the sun shines occasionally and my string quartet is asked to play outside at various functions. We all use ipad pros with

forscore and have found that in strong sunlight it becomes very difficult to read the music. Our ipads are not the newest and someone suggested that the latest ipads have a much less reflective surface. Would it be a lot different to what we have now? Is there any device that will stop the screen reflecting back and make reading easier?

Thanks, DC

Hello, DC!

Listening to a string quartet in the warm sunshine sounds amazing! We'd love to help brainstorm how to make this work better so you can keep providing that to your fans. Wearing polarized sunglasses can help quite a bit. Rotating the display (from landscape to portrait and vice versa) can change how it looks with your glasses on, as well. You can find various anti-glare screen protectors that may help as well. You can shop the latest iPad models and compare technical details of each here: Buy iPad - Apple.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
