Well get your 30-pin cable that you have for your iPod, plug one end in the iPod and one end in the computer. Depending on what you have iTunes or Finder will sync your iPod. iTunes is from Mac OS X 10.0 to Mac OS Mojave 10.14 Finder is MacOS Catalina 10.15, Big Sur 11 and Monterey 12. Your iPod should appear in the sidebar.
