Hello, I just watched a video, where a popular mathematical problem came up, and I thought I’d use the calculator on my iPhone 11 to see if it could calculate it. To my surprise, it did not, the equation was “60/5(7-5)” which is equal to 24 using the PEMDAS/BODMAS method or 6 if it was the historical usage. However, the calculator comes the answer 30? Which I find pretty peculiar, any idea how this is possible?
The correct answer appears when I do it:
60/5=12
(7-5)=2
2x12=24
Using the scientific calculator (turn the calculator to Landscape mode) and enter this exactly:

On my iPhone calculator, it is showing correctly as 24.
6 Would come if you have missed a few parentheses.
To arrive at an answer of 30 will require the equation to be read as "60/Sin(7-5)"
If only I could send a video, I could have shown everything I have entered on my calculator.
It may just be me, that doesn’t know exactly how to use the Apple Calculator, as I usually don’t use it that often, but I do not believe so.
Regardless of whatever I type, I still get the answer 30
If I break it down writing in multiple equations, I do get the correct answer of 24, however, it does not calculate correctly, when I put the whole equation in in one go.
I keep getting 30.
