Data recovery
I forgot my password yesterday. Have tried to recall password but in vain. Then I have ereased all data and set up new iphone. Can I return back somehow?

Do you have a backup you can restore from? Also sign into Settings/Your Name, then go to iCloud, and turn syncing on. The iCloud sync is very, very slow. The photos sync is extremely slow. It could take several days or more for the photos to sync.

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
