Hey, my old iPhone six keeps bringing up the support.apple.com/iphone/restore screen and says to plug in my phone to the laptop but nothing works what do you recommend?

If that doesn't help, maybe it's time to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options...
