Numbers template, multiple sheets

How do I convert my bookkeeping file into a template? The file consists of multiple sheets; the data is entered in one sheet and the other sheets are populated from it via SUMIFS, capturing data by month, category, entity; some sheets are summaries of other sheets. This template will save me many hours every year. Thanks!

Save a duplicate of your current document.

Close the original.

Open the duplicate.

Edit the Data table to remove the current data.

Edit the name of this copy to the name you want to see in thr Template Chooser.

Save the edited document as a template, choosing Template Chooser as the location in which it should be placed.

The template will appear in the My Templates section of th Template Chooser.

Remember to add the year to the filename of the new documents immediately after creating one from this template.

Regards,

Barry
