Why is Apple Card still not syncing with common budget apps?

Why is Apple card still not syncing with common budget apps like YNAB? Until it does I will not use my apple card much as exporting the transactions manually into my YNAB budget app is a major hassle.

That is one of the reasons I only use the Apple Card for some purchases from Apple. This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. You may want to also post to the following (enter Apple Card) in the Product Category field. Feedback - Apple Pay - Apple

You basically proved by point. The QFX file is available on the iPhone. But Goldman Sachs doesn’t control access to data/information on the iPhone, Apple does. If you read the Privacy Policy for the Apple Card, you’ll see what information GS can share. Apple deliberately limits access to a lot of personal information and this is a marketing feature Apple and GS uses to attract customers. You’ll also note that the QFX file is not on a website controlled by GS. The Apple Card account is on Apple.com, not Marcus by GS.

It’s been three years since the Apple Card debuted. Nothing yet. This is a Goldman Sachs problem. I have a GM MasterCard that was handled by Synchrony Bank for years and worked fine with financial software like Quicken. The GM card was recently moved to Marcus by Goldman Sachs and, ta-da, it no longer works with Quicken. GM card holders are squawking on the Quicken Community Forums like Apple Card holders are here. What’s the common denominator?

You have no idea how Quicken Connect and Quicken Direct work. It’s up to the service issuers to support Quicken’s protocols, not the other way around. There are very few financial services that don’t work with Quicken. Most do. Apple Card happens to be one that doesn’t and it has nothing to do with security. Marcus by Goldman Sachs is telling its GM MasterCard card holders that it is working on bringing Quicken support to the card. If Apple doesn’t want Quicken support that’s their business, for whatever reason. I’ve been a Quicken user for decades and have been involved in some of these issues over the years.
