I have the same problem.

And it seems there are a lot of references to reset your Apple ID but not reading or understanding the problem ie. the AppleID is different to my email @me.com, and it is the @me.com email password I need to reset and not the current AppleID.

If I changed my AppleID to @me.com email I don't know the password, nor know if you can have 2 AppleID's.
