The document has rows and columns frozen but in Numbers they aren't. I then try to freeze those rows and columns in Numbers but didn't appear to work even though the freeze options for both rows and columns were ticked. Please advise, thank you.

Freeze header row/column in Numbers not what I'm expecting I am looking for the Numbers equivalent to freezing panes in Microsoft Excel. I've got a simple spreadsheet with 3 columns of data and a couple of hundred rows of entries in those columns (header column is dates, columns 2 and 3 are data on those days). I highlighted my first row, which has the headers, clicked 'freeze header row', and as I scroll down the spreadsheet, to enter new data, the header row scrolls up along with everything else. Is this is expected behavior in Numbers? Is there a different thing I need to do to scroll down and right and have one or two rows/columns with headers stay locked to the top/left of the window? I'm trying not to pay up for a subscription to Office since I now am able to limit my complex spreadsheets to the work computer, and figure Numbers should handle my simple personal spreadsheet needs.

freeze more than 5 columns in numbers. Ideally not make them headers either. How do I freeze more than 5 columns? I don't want to make them headers either but it doesn't matter that much. It needs to be able to be sent to someone who operates excel and back to me again too
