Iphone 13 pro max typing, touch issues needing addressed

My new phone was making me tap letters repeatedly and freezing up in the browser constantly. In typing mainly, it was spurting out letters I didn’t even touch, and making closing out of windows an effort in frustration. Fully charged this was happening, too. Hitting the 123/ABC box jittered often, with no updates showing as needed, either.

There’s definitely updates needed, but I realized the case I had my phone in got foggy. It still doesn’t explain how that button lower left of the letters got giggly like buggy.

If pushing buttons often unresponsive then check your case you have your phone in.

We understand that you're experiencing issues with your new iPhone 13 being unresponsive especially when trying to type. To clarify, has your phone suffered from any type of physical damage? We have provided a few troubleshooting steps that may help resolve this issue:

1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.
