How do I activate my Apple Card without an Iphone?

How did you order the card without an iPhone or iPad? If you don’t have a required device, you just have an Apple account that only good for purchases at Apple Retail stores and online at Apple. com.

It’s not really difficult or meant to be. It’s a co-branded card that really has a single purpose, sell more apple products and services. It’s kind of like asking why can’t I earn United Airlines or Delta miles on my American Airlines co-branded card. I’m sorry if this sounds harsh.

The terms of service, contained in the Apple Card Customer Agreement that was delivered electronically and you read and signed, stated exactly how the card works. The physical card is activated by an iPhone. It can’t be activated over the phone or via email etc. for security reasons.

You can however, purchase an iPhone on the installment plan. Here’s a couple of links to help.

I purchased an I-pad a few months ago and was approved for the Apple Card, then requested to have the physical card sent to me for convenience as I travel, but do not have a I-phone and do not want to purchase one just to activate a credit card. The company should have a means to have customers be able to activate their cards in order to spend money, so they can make money, right? Why is everything so difficult anymore?
