My take: If you plan to carry your phone in a pocket or purse you should get a really good case; Otterbox is a well respected one, or one of the “folio” cases that have a flap to cover the screen. If, however, you will keep the phone in a slip-case or holster then a case will just get in the way. Same with a screen protector.
