My text message sound notification works….but not for incoming messages from my wife. Only her. The messages come through properly (visually) but I don’t receive a sound notification. It has worked previously but this problem started several days ago. Any suggestions? Thanks Robb
In Messages tap on the contacts name and ensure Hide Notifications is turned off. Also make sure Focus is turned off.

That is why. I'm surprised it ever gave you notifications. Apple IDs are designed to be used by one person only. While you can sometimes force it to work for two people for somethings for a while, almost inevitably, it stops working.
